We are a privately owned company. Our director/shareholders are Roger & Alison Bray. We were founded in 2003.
The name Speciffix :
- Is a play on "specifics" implying attention to detail .. explicit ... lets get down to specifics.
- Is a concatenation of "specify" and "fix" meaning that we analyse and design as well as implement and support
What we do
We analyse your business needs with special focus on your pain points and deliver the best solution for your company.
Our main products are MYOB EXO Business and MYOB Advanced but we can also supply add-ons and customisations from our own portfolio and from other third party developers.
Roger is the principal director of Speciffix. He has worked in the IT sector since 1973 and has a realist approach to applying technology to real world problems. Cost versus benefit is always to mind.
He was instrumental in designing and managing the development team for MYOB EXO (formally Exonet) from 2001 to 2007. Roger still contributes to the EXO think tank.
In past lives, Roger has been involved in full turn key solutions and is also network savvy.
John is an associate of Speciffix with his own company Ashby Services and 'pools resources' with Roger.
He has worked in the NZ It industry for more than 30 years in a variety of roles, starting as an Analyst Programmer at NZ Co-operative Dairy Company in Hamilton back in the 80’s working on the first installation of the Oracle database in New Zealand.
John moved to Auckland in 1994 and started working for Oracle New Zealand in the Applications division in 1995. He held a number of roles within Oracle including Senior Consultant, Project Manager, Applications Consulting Manager and Services Business Development Manager.
In 2001, John left Oracle and moved into a Sales role at Intentia New Zealand with a product called Movex (manufacturing & distribution). In 2006 John moved to Verde selling Greentree and then also MYOB EXO.
Outside of work, John is a committed Rotarian
Nick has worked in ERP Software since 2004 and worked for MYOB for 8 years. In his tenure at MYOB, Nick was a Product Specialist for MYOB Advanced and MYOB Exo Business. In this job, Nick was a consultant to the internal support and the development teams, as well as training new channel partner consultants, in both Australia and New Zealand, to be software implementers for these two products.
Because Nick has been involved with MYOB Advanced from its inception by MYOB, he comes with a large knowledge of how everything pieces together. Nick is a passionate and client focused person who likes to understand a business so that he can provide them with the right software fit and implementation choices.

Andrew is an associate of Speciffix with his own company 360 Business Information Systems located in Nelson
360 Business is an MYOB EXO Business dealer in its own right but has partnered with Speciffix to facilitate sales and support of MYOB Advanced in the top half of the South Island and Wellington.
Andrew is an MYOB certified consultant for both MYOB EXO and MYOB Advanced. and is a qualified accountant. We value him in our pool of people who have had many years experience with Enterprise level Business Software.
